Job description

Fortiland is looking for an analytical and results-driven entry-level professional who is eager to learn and support a senior team in Private Equity in its unique investment strategy.
You will be working closely with a team of senior investors and managers as well as external advisors and partners you will participate in the evaluation, selection, execution and monitoring of private equity transactions in the European mid-market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sector, strategic and financial analysis of target companies

• Build financial model and perform scenario analysis on company business plan

• Write investment memos and participate in the investment committee process

• Contribute to structuring and executing financing, legal documentation and negotiation

• Communicate, identify and highlight systems and risk management issues

• Draft of presentations and briefing documents for pitches, meetings and conferences.

Requirements:

• Excellent academic credentials – ideally bachelor’s degree / Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics

• Knowledge of financial analysis

• Familiarity with financial modelling

• Strong quantitative skills

• Ability to multitask

• Cope well under pressure

• Strong sense of responsibility curiosity, and attention to details

• Excellent communication skills - working knowledge of English and an addition knowledge of Italian, French, German or Spanish languages are highly preferred.
